These still look quite good! I think this is the 5th member of the club.
Here's a look at the next thousand miles...

One time (2001) I wore a pair of New Balance into Twin Palms. The bouncer said I could get away with that, but only because they were brand new. I was on my way home from a Dylan concert at Staples Center and, if I remember correctly, pretty drunk. I don't know why I went to Twin Palms because I didn't really like the place. It must have been to meet a girl.
Damn, I was at Bar Celona and Der Wolf, I'm sorry I missed you. I haven't seen you since before Christmas. I know that because I still have presents for your daughter. Maybe I'll just give them to her for Valentine's Day? ("Daddy why did JAM give me a reindeer for Valentine's Day?"... "He's just weird, sweetie, don't worry about it.")
I think my 250 (or so) mile shoes look way sadder and more used than your spiffy 1,000 milers! I really hate my shoes, except for when I run. Best wishes for the next 1,000 - may you run like the wind!

Thanks, JAM. I wore my new running shoes into the pub last night and felt mighty fancy!

You runners are very dapper with your attire.
Thanks, Midnight. I may not be very fast at it but at least I can look fast... at least until I run through a few muddy puddles...

Thanks, Kristina... where ever in the world you may be...
We're going to Amigos tonight!
So jealous! We hope that you had a margarita for us!
I still marvel at how you get 1,000 miles out of your shoes!
Thanks, @PasadenaCyclist (@LaCanadaCyclist). Maybe I'm just a miser.
