Justin Says, I remember talking to Kevin about Lance in 2003, long before the serious rumors started. I mentioned an article I read that described the way Lance's body gives him an edge when riding. Kevin immediately said "That's bulls**t. It's all the steroids."
This blew me away, as I don't believe I had even heard accusations at this point. But Kevin was adamant, and told me stories about his time in Belgium and how there was just no doubt whatsoever that Lance was using. It's funny to see almost a decade later how right he was.
MM says, Wouldn't it be great if Kevin put together a memoir of his time racing in Europe?
mike-espo - Thanks for the link. If only it were that simple. It reminds me of the accusations a couple of years ago that Cancellara had and electric motor in his bike…
